Sunday June 15th was such a beautiful day, especially after all the rain we had. Farmer Phil and Elwood were getting ready to take an antique tractor and Cami the horse to the Veterans Hospital in Saint-Anne de Bellevue for father’s day, and the kitchen ladies were busy baking pies for all the dad’s in our neighborhood. What a wonderful feeling thinking about all of these people who visited the farm this week-end, enjoying a fresh baked pie from Quinn Farm with their dads and family.
Most of you are probably aware of the unique & extreme weather conditions this summer, making it very difficult to grow anything, from a to z, animals to zucchinis.
Those of you who have visited Quinn Farm will see the changes we`ve made. Other changes are less visible, like using the sheep to control weeds & grass in the Christmas trees; and the hours & hours spent irrigating crops.
